Program
Program
This weekly sailing starts on Saturdays. Here is the weekly program for the trips:
Day: 1 Casting off in Longyearbyen
We sail in beautiful Isfjorden, a fantastic fjord in Svalbard. The course is set for Trygghamna and Ymerbukta, where we spend the night. Trygghamna is given the name by the fact that it is very warm in this bay, so here we will sleep well.
Day 2: First lines
Starting from Trygghamna and Ymerbukta, we have fantastic opportunities to set our first lines in the snow. This bay contains many different treats that we can choose from.
After we return to the boat, we are served a delicious meal, and set course for St. Johnsfjord.
Day 3: Out of Coverage
We wake up in St. Johnsfjorden – here where many hidden treasures are located. They say that there is gold in St. Johnsfjorden – and we believe in this!
Day 4: Krossfjorden
Today’s destination, if everything goes according to plan, is Krossfjorden. Here we are at 79 degrees north, not far from Kongsfjorden and Ny-Ã…lesund. When you ski in Krossfjorden, this will be a “once in a lifetime” experience. This is the northernmost destination of the trip.
Day 5: New day in wonderland
We choose to spend 2 nights in this wonderful space. In Krossfjorden we will write good memories.
Day 6: Prince Karl’s Forland
Forlandet is Svalbard’s westernmost island – and probably the first to be discovered by William Barents when he named the archipelago “Spitzbergen” – the country of the pointed mountains.
Day 7: Isfjorden
Isfjorden has many fantastic bays. We turn our nose back towards Isfjorden and let the weather decide where we take today’s summit trip.
Day 8: Hello Longyearbyen
After breakfast, it is ready for disembarkation in Longyearbyen. This day is great for a last trip to the souvenir shop before departure by plane.
